Omni-Man vs Homelander?!

Today Mortal Kombat 1 just announced the news that fans have been dying to hear. Omni-man AND Homelander will be in the new Mortal Kombat game.

With a stunning announcement, we see Omni-man perform a superhero landing and stand front and centre amongst an ensemble of revealed characters.

Characters Revealed in order of appearance :

Omni-man - Made supremely popular in the recent hit TV Show Invincible, is not from earth. I will not ruin the story for anyone who is likely to pick this up and look into the story. Definitely worth it.

Ermac - Was a character created by Rumours. In the original arcade Mortal Kombat video games, players found 'ERMAC' under a listing in the audit menu. later through revisions players began to speculate over a hidden character. ERMAC was first introduced in Mortal Kombat 3 and has since made very few appearances. But now he has Substantial Lore and is a Cult favourite.

Peacemaker - This character needs very little introduction. John Cena and James Gunn's Suicide Squad movie has brought this character to become a household name. This Patriotic Anti-Hero will stop at nothing for truth and justice.

Quan Chi - Labelled as the most powerful sorcerer and Necromancer in the Neatherrealm. Quan Chi was always a sub Boss in the series behind Shang Tsung. This is no small feat by any standard. Quan Chi is an Admirable Adversary.

Takeda Takahashi - One of the most recent additions to the line up of characters, Takeda Takahashi has a dark history. His mother being killed when he was a child and his father leaving on a revenge mission. He is intrusted into the care of Hanzo. he was trained as a warrior, but didn't take things too seriously.

Homelander - Everyone's Favourite Villain to hate! Homelanders infamy has soared the past few years, the Hit Prime TV show based off the very popular graphic novel The Boys, has introduced us to a dark side of what Superman could be if not raised right.
